Description | |
City Hall Park is now home to four vibrant Prayer Paddles, honoring the Coast Salish People. Created by Tulalip tribal member and artist Ty Juvinel, the paddles symbolize the spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional elements, placed in harmony with the four directions – north, east, south, and west. The Paddles are meant to provide prayers and healing for those who walk in and near the park. This is a temporary art installation at City Hall Park funded by Seattle Parks and Recreation’s Park Activation team. The installation will be in place through Jan. 17, 2025. | |
