Discover new ways to explore our region’s history and culture with MOHAI’s lectures and events. History Café is a monthly series of discussions about local history, both popular and obscure. Sessions are free and will take place the third Wednesday of each month at Microsoft Lakefront Pavilion. Next event: Indigenous Voices on the Air – Nov. 20 Curator’s Talk: Teamsters, Turtles, and Beyond – The Battle of Seattle resonated around the world, changing the conversation about the rules of global trade. The five days of street protests reshaped Seattle politics and the city’s reputation.
