SAM Gallery presents artists Joe Max Emminger and Julie Paschkis engaging in a creative collaboration with Duet.

Joe Max Emminger creates brightly colored acrylic works on paper, bursting with bold lines and solid color fields. Allowing freedom in his process, Emminger’s work has a mysterious yet playful feel, being open to exploring where each piece will lead and which stories it will tell.

Artist and illustrator Julie Paschkis is known for her work in a variety of techniques including illustration, painting, embroidery and paper cutting. With a careful eye and unique attention to detail, Paschkis’ Duet collection of delicate gouache paintings creates a harmonious compliment, both solo and in collaborative works with Emminger.

Duet will be on display Nov. 5-30.
