Outside the Brick – Think you know LEGO®? Think again! Join MOHAI for a hands-on all ages day in the park with art making activities and unconventional builds. The creative possibilities are endless. This event will take place Aug. 24 at Lake Union Park and is free for all ages.

History Café is a monthly series produced as a partnership between HistoryLink and MOHAI. Each month, gather at MOHAI’s Microsoft Lakefront Pavilion for a discussion about local history—both popular and obscure—and discover something new. All events are free with registration. Next event: South Asian American Literature and Resistance – Sept. 18

Living Voices combine live theatrical performances with archival film, turning history into a moving personal journey. Performances will take place in the Joshua Green Foundation Theater on MOHAI’s second floor, and are free with museum admission. Next event: La Causa – Sept. 21

Fashion Lecture: Almost Grunge! – While much has been written about grunge music, grunge style is far less studied than other counterculture fashions. Join Clara Berg, MOHAI Curator of Collections and manager of @AlmostStyle on Instagram, to explore how a comedy show might be the key to unlocking the fashion history mystery of grunge. Sept. 24
