SIFF Movies in the Park

This spring, join us for movie night at the park! To celebrate their 50th birthday, we’ve partnered up with Seattle International Film Festival to bring a two-part series of free outdoor movies to Occidental Square. From 3-7 p.m., join us for SIFF favorites SUPA MODO and SKATE KITCHEN on May 17.

SUPA MODO: In this beautiful, bittersweet, and profound film from Kenya, a town comes together to make the wishes of a terminally ill young girl come true-help her achieve her dreams of becoming a superhero through the magic of cinema.

SKATE KITCHEN: The lights and neon signs of New York’s Lower East Side illuminate a group of girls as they take over the streets on their skateboards. But with a new sense of belonging comes new social obstacles to navigate, and through the ups and the downs, the ollies and the kickflips, we learn the true definition of family.
